Palomino Welsh/Shetland Colt
DOB 7/18/08

Sire:  Apple Jack (A.J.), Grey Welsh Stallion
Dam:  Wendy, Buckskin Welsh/Shetland Pony

"Last Chance" represents the end of our pony breeding program. Chance has the honor of being the last foal out of our welsh stud, A.J., who was gelded in October of 2008. An awesome little colt, we think he may be palomino as he matures, but we are not sure at this point. Chance will mature to about 12 hands, making him a good sized kid's pony or even a cart pony for yourself, and a flashy one at that! Chance has been weaned and although he is a bit shy, we are working on that and he's doing so well. We can hold him until Christmas for you if desired and can deliver him to you as well.

Sorrel Welsh/Shetland Filly
DOB 5/23/08

Sire:  Apple Jack (A.J.), Grey Welsh Stallion
Dam:  Daphne, Sorrel Welsh/Shetland Pony

Cinnamon had a great "photo shoot" with me, prancing around for the camera and then stopping to pose like a pro every few shots. She should keep her sorrel color and will mature to around 12 hands. She is looking for a new home as a child's pony or as a companion to a horse or pony. Cinnamon would also pair up nicely with her half sister, Caramel. We have only one more pony foal due this year, and we plan on this being our last year of pony foals. Come see these two fillies and put your deposit down to hold them until weaning.

Grey Shetland/Welsh Filly
DOB 4/12/08

Sire:  Apple Jack (A.J.), Grey Welsh Stallion
Dam:  Beauty, Black Shetland/Part Welsh Pony

Super sweet little filly, this little girl has already been spoiled and will make a perfect child's best friend! Caramel (named by my kids!) had an interesting start in life when my Quarter Horse mare decided she wanted her for her own, and "stole" her from her mother sometime through the night after she was born. (See Jazz below with her stolen pony foal trying to nurse from her!)Caramel with her temporary mom! Mom and baby were reunited as soon as we realized what had happened, but Caramel missed out on getting enough colostrum from her mom and had a slow start. After two visits from the vet, one of which included a plasma transfusion to build her antibodies up, she is now right on track where she needs to be with a clean bill of health.

Caramel loves attention, hugs and scratches and you can't keep up with her in the barnyard running and kicking up her heels. If I had only half of her energy, I would be thrilled! Caramel should mature to about 10 to 10.2 hands or so and is almost exactly half welsh and half shetland. She is a light sorrel right now but most likely will turn grey as she matures just like her sire. Caramel is looking for an extra special home where she will have at least one other equine buddy as a friend and lots of human love and attention. Delivery available.

Chestnut Colt, may turn Grey
DOB 4/10/08

Sire:  Apple Jack (A.J.), Grey Welsh Stallion
Dam:  Tahriki-Mirage "Tara", Registered Arabian

If you are looking for a nice sized pony for your child to grow up with, Jax may be your guy. Jax is full brother to Sno Bunni, Mishya, Maddy, Chex, and Alex. He is darkly colored right now, but may turn grey (white) as he matures, we aren't quite sure yet. Jax should mature to about 13.2 - 13.3 hands or so, the perfect size for children or a small adult. His sire is our gorgeous full Welsh stallion, A.J., and his mother is our registered Arabian mare, Tara, who has an excellent pedigree including The Egyptian Prince, her grand sire; Morafic, her great grand sire; and Bask & Nazeer in her 4th generation back. Jax can be registered as a half Arabian with the Arabian Horse Association, but I've not yet done so. If you would like for me to register him for you, his price will be increased. We also will offer a nice discount if you pair Jax up with another horse or pony from our farm.

Liver Chestnut Filly

1/2 Arab, 1/2 Quarter Horse
DOB 4/29/05

Sire:  Chocolate Thunder, 15.2h Liver Chestnut Arabian
Dam:  Showdown Jazz, 15.2h Chestnut Quarter Horse

Kelcie is a sweet 3 year old filly, ready for you to start any way you like. She has a wonderful willing attitude and has been handled routinely, but not started with any formal training. Both her sire and dam are here for you to see, both are laid-back and gentle, and both are 15.2h. Kelcie should mature to 15-15.2 hands easily. She is going through a tall, lanky stage but will begin filling out more over this next year. She's turned into a rich liver chesnut color this summer with a flaxen mane. We would love to see her go to a home with children, as she has been raised with my kids and enjoys the attention she gets from them. Kelcie is a full sister to Shorecrests Kimber Lee. She is half sister to all of Thunder's foals you see on my site as well as half sister to Kassie, a full QH filly on my horses sold page. Kelcie has a good head on her, she will make a wonderful riding horse whether in the showring or just out on trails. She is registered as a half arab and is current on all vaccinations until September.

Sorrel Welsh/Shetland Pony Colt

Sire:  Apple Jack (A.J.), Grey Welsh Stallion
Dam:  Beauty, Black Shetland/Part Welsh Pony

Very photogenic little colt, his previous siblings have been favorites with my kids. They are always super friendly and easy to work with. Should mature a bit smaller than the fillies, around 10.2 or 10.3 -- he has more shetland in him. Full sibling to Tanner, Macintosh, Elliot, and Karri. It appears that Dakota will be keeping his pretty sorrel color as you can see by the updated photo posted above. He is shedding out around his eyes now and you can see the deep sorrel color. He's going to be a gorgeous boy with nice markings!

This little filly is a showstopper for sure. Full sister to Hott Fudge, she should have just as much personality as he does and is just as pretty as he is handsome. She will be registered and will make a wonderful addition to anyone's show string, broodband or trail riding companion. This is Lexis's third baby, and her first two were very kid friendly and gentle. All vaccinations are up to date. Will mature on the smaller side probably around 14.2 hands. Sire:  Chocolate Thunder, 15.2h Chestnut
Dam:  Daybreak Sensation, 15h Flea Bitten Grey

If you are looking for a future show prospect, addition to your broodband, or just a friendly family horse, Star is your girl. Star has been handled by my 10 year old daughter. She is easy to catch, leads like a pro, does very well for the farrier, has been bathed and tied, and has already had her first ride on a trailer. Star had an injury a few months ago on her chest from a run-in with a fence (I will explain in more detail to her new owner) She had a 100% recovery and during this process, her already laid back attitude turned her into a kitten. She's been handled daily and is a complete dream to work with. Should mature out to about 15.2 hands or so. Her mom is our pure polish mare, 15.2h grey, and her dad is 90% Egyptian, 15.2h liver chestnut. Serious inquiries only please, we're very attached to this filly but would love to see her in a show home, or see her become a child's horse. Star loves people, especially kids, and has a very bright future ahead of her.

Kimber is a little chunk! She's a fabulous mix of the elegant Arabian dished head, arched neck, and typey Arab gait from her sire and a sturdiness in bone structure and muscle from her dam. This is the first time we've crossed Arabian with Quarter Horse blood, and we like what we see. This little girl is going to have a perfectly blended balance between the best of both of these breeds. She will be registered as a half Arabian, and has already been given her first rounds of vaccinations.

"Cricket"
Cricket, grade pinto mare
Cricket, grade pinto mare
(Click photos to enlarge)

7 Year Old Grade Pinto Mare
Approx. 11 hands

Cricket came to us in March of 2005 off of a Quarter Horse farm in Wisconsin. She was sold to me as a dead-broke kids pony that had been used as a "party pony" giving rides at children's birthday parties. Cricket was a 7th birthday present for my daughter, who had no riding experience whatsoever and I was looking for that "been there, done that" type pony for her to gain confidence on. Although it's obvious Cricket was trained and ridden often, she was not quite what I was hoping for. We've found that in concentrating on our miniature donkeys, we do not have the time required to put into working with Cricket to get her to the level that my kids can hop on and go with their inexperience. I think Cricket would do fine with a youngster that's had some riding time under their belts but she needs more experience herself before putting a child who knows nothing on her back.

Cricket is one of the first ones to the fence to greet you and she gets along well with the other horses she's pastured with. She is an extremely easy keeper, and has gained a few (dozen!) extra pounds over the past year that she's not been ridden. She would also make a wonderful companion if you have an older horse or pony needing a friend. I don't know much about her past prior to 2005, but while she's been with us, she's been kept up to date on all of her yearly vaccinations. She does fine for the farrier as well. Cricket is looking for a good home where she will have at least one other equine companion and hopefully lots more attention than we've been able to devote to her. Delivery available. Up to date on all vaccinations till October of 2007.

Sorrel Welsh/Shetland Gelding
DOB 5/07/05

Sire:  Apple Jack (A.J.), Grey Welsh Stallion

Rusty is a gorgeous sorrel gelding who is a wonderful young pony for your kids to grow up with. He was just 1 year old this past May and should grow to about 11 hands or so at maturity. Rusty has a very friendly personality - he loves attention, and seems to love kids more than anything. My 12 year old daughter is spending a lot of time with him grooming him, picking up his feet, getting the halter off and on with ease, and doing some leading as well.

Rusty was just gelded 8-30-06, and had all of his vaccinations the same day (5-way, WNV, Rabies, and Potomac Horse Fever) He also had his feet done in July. He is looking for his forever family home and is ready to go! We do offer delivery, and we will also consider a discounted price if purchased with his best friend and half brother, Butterscotch or any other pony we are offering for sale at this time. Welsh/Shetland Gelding
DOB 3/31/05

Sire:  Apple Jack (A.J.), Grey Welsh Stallion
Dam:  Daphne, Sorrel Welsh/Shetland Mare

At 18 months old, Butterscotch is turning into a very handsome young pony. He will make a wonderful family pet and children's pony as he matures, and will most likely grow to about 11 hands tall, give or take. He is joined at the hip with his brother, Rusty, but has a more independent personality than Rusty has shown us. An inexperienced handler can probably manage Rusty just fine, but I would rather place Butterscotch in a home experienced with equine. He is never nasty, no bite or kick, but has been slower to trust than the other foals; therefore, I feel it will be in his best interests to be with someone who recognizes his reactions for what they are -- fear, and not aggression.

Butterscotch needs someone with time to spend with him consistently. My 12 year old daughter is currently spending as much time as she can with him and the other pony foals after school, grooming him and getting his halter off and on easily. Butterscotch will make a gorgeous show pony for a child in 4-H (he will be an exact replica to his father, A.J., who is absolutely gorgeous). He is full brother to Easter Lily, April, Kellie, and Patrick (also currently for sale).

Butterscotch was just gelded 8-30-06, and had all of his vaccinations the same day (5-way, WNV, Rabies, and Potomac Horse Fever) He is looking for his forever family home and is ready to go! Ok, so she's not an Arabian, but she THINKS she's an arabian after growing up with them the past 2 1/2 years. Kassie is a gorgeous filly. I don't know a lot about Quarter Horses, but I bought her mom to use as my trail horse and she was already bred at the time, so that is how Kassie came to be. I had planned on keeping her for my daughter to ride, but I realized by the time I find someone to train Kassie and by the time she has had enough experience for my inexperienced daughter... well, you can see it just wasn't working as planned. She will make a super riding horse for someone, selling to a good home only where she'll get lots of love and attention. To see some of Kassie's siblings, click here and visit the website of our friends Earl and Wendy Greenawald at E & W Quarter Horses.

Price reduced to $500 during the month of August! We will include her papers and her vaccinations are good until October. You must provide transportation and pay for coggins/health certificate and any pre-purchase exams if needed.

Annie is a super broodmare prospect for the beginning or established Arabian breeder. She has a super pedigree which includes lines to TheEgyptianPrince, Morafic, and Nazeer. Her bloodlines are predominately Russian, Eqyptian, and Polish, and 31% CMK. Annie just turned 9 years old. She is a super mother, and she breeds and foals easily. She has had 3 foals for us but due to our wanting to end our horse breeding program, we have not rebred Annie the past two years. She is open at this time and ready for you to enter into your breeding program, or for you to work with and train to ride. Annie did have 60 days professional training as a 3 year old, but has not been ridden since that time, so she will need an experienced horse person to start her over and see what she may remember. Looking to find a confident horse person for this mare. She will excel with the right person.

Welsh/Shetland Gelding
DOB 7/15/00

Sire:  Apple Jack (A.J.), Grey Pure Welsh Pony
Dam:  Beauty, Black Shetland, Part Welsh Mare

We have decided with mixed emotion to put Elliot up for sale. I kept him from our 2000 foal crop to train for my kids to ride, but I just don't have the time, and I hate seeing him go to waste. He will make someone a wonderful kids pony. He has been handled, but not trained. He can be haltered and leads. I had a saddle on him once, and he didn't mind it. He has never had weight on his back other than me leaning over him to see how he'd react. I worked with him more when he was a little younger. Lots of life changing events in the past 2 years for me have taken me away from the time I used to spend out in the barn, so it's time for us to find Elliot a new home with lots of daily attention. He is up to date on his vaccinations and wormings. He is also used to being with other horses and ponies, so I will only place him in a new home offering him at least one companion. His full brother, born this spring, is also for sale, Macintosh. If you have room for both boys, we will deduct $100 from the price of the pair. Both boys are a muddy black/brown, but will be grey like their sire, A.J., when fully mature.

Abby is a beautiful filly out of our mare, Daybreak, and our prior black bay Arabian herd sire, Zanadoo. She is gorgeous, and is almost an exact replica of her sire, not only in looks, but in her attitude and personality as well. Abby pretends to be the "wild arab" but is a kitten at heart, and will pick at you for attention, just like her dad used to do. Abby carries predominantly Polish/Arab lines on her dam's side, and Egyptian/Arab lines on her sire's side. She is 43% CMK, 61% Polish. Notables in her pedigree include *Morafic, Surf, Bask, Raffles, and Nazeer.

Jinx is another sure bet for your family! On his sire's side, Jinx is a Surf great grandson as well as a descendent of *Morafic, Nazeer, and *Raffles. On his dam's side, he carries predominantly Polish Arabian bloodlines, including *Bask and *Eukaliptus. He's also been gelded and spends his time hanging out with his best buddy and half brother, Kojakk. We'd love to keep these two guys together as they are joined at the hip and have been together since birth. They love to run and play together out in the pasture. Again, just THINK of the possibilities -- two registered Arabians geldings, half brothers, that you could use one day for trail riding or showing, or even train as a matched team. These two guys look very much alike, the more so the older they get. They are super sweet and just need some daily attention, we have too many horses to give them the time they deserve. Both are current on ALL vaccinations including 5-way, Rabies, Rhino, and WNV given 10-14-03. They also both underwent a complete physical by our vet and are healthy, happy and ready to go to a new home!

Grey Registered Half Arabian Filly
DOB 3/15/01
Height on 6/4/04: 13.2h

Sire:  AJ, Grey Welsh Pony
Dam:  Tahriki-Mirage, Grey Arabian

Bunni is a beautiful pony who will make an exceptional mount for a child. Her temperment is outstanding, and her good looks are a bonus! She is super easy to handle, despite the fact that we haven't had much time to spend with her. When we went out to take her updated photos, we walked into a pasture with a dozen horses in it, walked right up to Bunni and slid a halter on her, led her into the yard and she cooperated every step of the way. She is not jittery or ancy, allowed us to pick up her feet and led like a pro. Bunni is registered as a half Arabian. Her sire is our gorgeous full Welsh stallion, A.J., Her mother is our registered Arabian mare, Tara, who has an excellent pedigree boasting such notables as The Egyptian Prince, her grand sire; Morafic, her great grand sire; and Bask & Nazeer in her 4th generation back. Bunni has it all -- looks, personality, and is the perfect age as a 3 year old to start saddle training. We encourage you to come visit her, we guarantee if you are looking for a well put together mild mannered future child's mount, you won't be disappointed! Bunni also has two full sisters, Mishya and Maddy, who are also for sale. We will take extra consideration in pricing if you are interested in a pair.

Grey Registered Half Arabian Filly

Sire:  AJ, Grey Welsh Pony
Dam:  Tahriki-Mirage, Grey Arabian

Mishya is a gorgeous pony! Look at the length of her tail and her mane is very thick, apparently she takes after her father, A.J., as the first thing people notice about him is his beautiful flowing mane. Mishya's mom is our registered Arabian mare, Tara, who has an excellent pedigree boasting such notables as The Egyptian Prince, her grand sire; Morafic, her great grand sire; and Bask & Nazeer in her 4th generation back. Mishya is 12.3h as a two year old, and will still probably gain a few inches before maturing. Mishya will make a wonderful kids pony. We have done limited work with leading, but she does well despite our lack of time spent with her. It won't take much to get her where you want her to be. Mishya has two full sisters, Bunni and Maddy also for sale. We will take extra consideration into pricing if you are interested in a pair.

Grey Registered Half Arabian Filly
DOB 9/01/03

Sire:  AJ, Grey Welsh Pony
Dam:  Tahriki-Mirage, Grey Arabian

This filly is full sister to Mishya and Bunni, but seems to resemble Bunni more than Mishya. We have not worked with this filly at all, we just haven't had the time, but she's not yet a year old, so she's plenty young enough for you to begin working with now. Her bloodline through her sire, A.J., has proved in the past to be very easy to train and are extremely kid friendly. A.J. consistently passes on his mild mannered attitude to his foals, and Maddy will be no different. We think she will mature around the 13h mark, perfect size for a child to ride as well as a small adult. Lots of possibilities for this filly and her sisters as well at very reasonable prices. Maddy is currently being registered as a half Arabian so she will come with papers.

Grey Arabian Filly
DOB: 7/13/00

Click here to see Zannie's complete pedigree!

Zannie is a very sweet natured 4 year old filly out of our mare, Annie, and by our former 15.1h black bay Arabian stallion, Zanadoo. She has a very willing attitude, is quite laid-back, and will mature to be a grey mare like her dam. Zannie's pedigree contains Surf (her Great Grand-Sire), *Morafic, Raffles, Nazeer, TheEgyptianPrince and *Bask. Her bloodline percentage consists of 32.5 Polish, 48.4 Egyptian, 40.1 Crabbet. She should mature 15h +, and will make a super endurance prospect, or show prospect for you or your children.

Zannie returned from 60 days ground training at Feather Hill Stables located in New Columbia, Pennsylvania on 12/01/02. Zannie progressed quite nicely. While at training, she learned to cross tie, lead, lunge and she was totally tacked out, saddle and all, very successfully. She is young and has lots more to learn. She is a perfect horse for someone looking for a mild mannered Arabian filly who already has "the bugs worked out" and she is at the perfect age to begin more serious training.

DOB 7/04/94

Click here to see Riki's complete pedigree!

Riki is a gorgeous 14.3h grey mare with a super pedigree containing The Egyptian Prince, Morafic, and *Bask. She is a beautiful mover, has a typey dished head, and is pleasant to work around. Riki stands at ease for the farrier and for grooming, and leads well. She is a very personable horse, always one to be the center of attention, and is never "stand-offish". She would be well suited for endurance riding, trail riding, or showing. She carries herself with the typical Arabian grace, beauty and honor.

Riki returned from training at Feather Hill Stables located in New Columbia, Pennsylvania on 12-01-02. Riki is best suited, at this point in time, for an experienced rider who can take her training to the next level. She would also work well for an intermediate rider under the supervision of an experienced rider/trainer. Riki's trainer had her out on trails, going through water, over logs, backing up alone and with other horses. You can do pretty much anything with her easily including lunging, bathing, grooming, farrier work, etc. Riki is a "people" horse who loves attention. She would be perfect for someone who has only a few horses that could give her plenty of time and affection.

Dark Bay Arabian Colt

DOB 6/22/02

Sire:  Zanadoo, 15.1h Black Bay
Dam:  Daybreak Sensation,Flea-Bitten Gray

Zakk is the most shy of the three colts right now, but in my opinion, he is the most beautiful. He has very long legs and is almost an exact replica of his sire, our previous stallion, Zannadoo. Zakk's mom, Daybreak Sensation, is one of our best brood mares in that she always throws very nice foals and is a very calm, sweet natured mare that passes her disposition on to her foals. On his sire's side, Zakk is predominantly Egyptian Arabian. He is a Surf great grandson as well as a descendent of *Morafic, Mazeer, and *Raffles. On his dam's side, he carries mostly Polish Arabian bloodlines, with *Bask turning up in his 4th generation. He has all the greatness to go on as a future stallion prospect, not only because of his beauty, but his build and dark coloring are super. As with with his two brothers, Zakk would also be suited to geld for you or your children to enjoy in the show ring or on trails. Zakk will be registered through the Arabian Horse Registry and will sell having had his first round of vaccinations and de-worming.

Zanadoo was our breeding stallion for 4 years, and was sold in March of 2002. He is the sire of two of our future brood mares, Abby and Zannie, and we have 3 foals coming sired by him in 2002. He carries predominantly Egyptian Arab lines, including such notables as Surf (his Grand-Sire), *Morafic (his Great Grand Sire), Nazeer, and *Raffles. Zanadoo is now living in Tennessee and his new owner is using him for light breeding and trail riding. It was difficult to see him go, but the time had come for a new bloodline in our herd. Zanadoo is greatly missed, but we are happy to hear he's adjusting well to his new life as a "southerner" We hear that at feeding time Zanadoo says,'"Ya'll...I sure am hungry!!!"
